Hi Everyone. Happy Monday. Hope you all had a great weekend. I did. The weather was amazing and I got to spend several hours over the weekend in my crafting room. As I always do, I went looking for a little inspiration and found some in the form of a sketch from Case this Sketch and a color scheme from Color Throwdown The minute I saw the sketch I knew it was going to be butterflies. AGAIN! Hey. What can I say? I'm addicted to butterflies right now and inspired by the ones we see in our prairie. None of... Read more →
Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Nance's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a great sketch for us. Yesterday was a day when I needed inspiration and found some across at Just Us Girls where they had an amazing photo inspiration. I loved the mixture of colors and the ethereal nature of the inspiration painting and realized it would work really well for Nance's great sketch. Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday. Something TOTALLY different for you tonight :-) Before I get onto my card, I wanted to say a huge thank you to the Just Us Girls team for choosing my watercolor card for Chick of the Week. I never expect to win. :-) You can find my card, and the wonderful things Ina had to say about it - at this... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday. It's the fabulous Doni's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she has a great code word for us: I had a new stamp set called Artsy Leaves and realized that this was a great set for this challenge as the leaves are just silhouettes. I decided to go with a more masculine and neutral color scheme. I used three different shades of warm gray for the colors on a soft gray background and used a pop of teal/turquoise for the sentiment. I love the soft color scheme, but realized it needed... Read more →
