My guess is some type of ornamental grass that is all covered with snow. Anyway, it is pretty. I love the snow...not so much fun driving in it, though. Merry Christmas to you and Lou.

Such a vibrant, beautiful card along with such a lovely sentiment.
My guess; looks like rosemary to me.

Rosemary? Doesn't really fit with your native plants theme, but it's the best I can come up with.

I'm glad to hear you're on vacation and can spend more time doing what you love to do.

Peggy M

Could it be rosemary? Love your card! Looks like sunrise over the snow. Merry Christmas to you!

Cindy

It's Rosemary! Happy vacation to you!

You always take the best pictures!! It looks like Rosemary or even maybe Lavender.

I think it is rosemary too. Mine survives any weather and keeps on growing. Lovely card. Merry Christmas.

I was thinking an herb like thyme. Sure do like this rendition of the snowy hamlet. Such a pretty card!! Love your blog and always enjoy reading what you've been up to and seeing your pictures. Thanks much!

Tooo baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!!! My guess also goes for Rosemary . . . is one of the plants I have in my garden and the picture looks exactly like it . . . mine are a little more bushy . . .probably because there is no snow here -- ho!ho!ho!

Shirley Bock

It looks like a plant I call asparagus fern. You let us look into your backyard with such wonderful pictures. And your card are always beautiful and inspires me. Thanks.

Happy Holidays!!! I love the Christmas card and the coloring are so peaceful. Which stamp set is that, please share.
Wishing you and Lou a joyous and peaceful holidays. I have no idea what's peaking out of the snow other besides what looks like a rosemary plant, and a bug (?) near the top right corner?

Diane Durbin

Looks like Rosemary to me, too.

Vicky Blackwell

What a beautiful picture showing some things can actually survive a good snowfall! My guess is Rosemary, although the tips seem more fragile and thin than most plants I've seen. Love the JOY die and would LOVE to win!

I think it is rosemary........it is a pretty hearty herb but, I am surprised it looks so nice & green! We have had some pretty cold temps here in MN. Have a great Holiday Season & enjoy your time away from the office. You spend way too many hours working!!!!!!!!!!
