Dragonfly Dreams for Paper Players # 335

Some Bunny for the Card Concept #68

Hi Everyone  Happy Thursday.

I hope you are all having a great week.   One of the challenges I got to play with this past weekend was this gorgeous color scheme from The Card Concept:

Aren't those colors glorious?  I was immediately inspired to create..... yes..... you guessed it... a shaker card!  I am obsessed with them right now and, I have to tell you, the biggest enabler for me loving shaker's right now is because of Stampin' Up's new foam strips.   I LOVE them and they make creating a shaker incredibly easy.

I decided to use my new Simon Says Stamp card kit for March and used the stencil from the kit to create a background for my shaker.  I used green and aqua inks, but then realized that one of the Nuvo items in the kit was an aqua colored mousse.  So, I used that on the aqua elements to add texture and shine and, I have to tell you, I am in love with the result.  Here's a close-up

I used some Martha Stewart sequins for the shaker elements and added my eggs and bunny onto the card base.  The DSP for the card base comes from the SSS kit.

Here's my card:

Aren't those colors gorgeous?  Love them.....  So, I decided to keep the inside pretty simple....  and this for my dearest bestie:-)  sorry it's out of focus :-)

On a personal note:

Thank you to ALL of you amazing ladies who left me comments, or sent me emails after my post earlier this week.  I can honestly tell you that each and every single one of them hit my heart and I am so appreciative of all of you.  I know this is the right path for me and your support makes such a difference.   SO THANK YOU from the depth of my heart!

I haven't shared any photos recently - and there's a story behind tht, too... but will save that for anothr day!  In the meantime, here's a photo of my favorite little bird who has been getting very excited by the 60 degree temps, encouraging them to start their "see saw.   see saw" Spring call.   Seems to have stopped now that it has dropped back down to 20 degrees!

Chickadee (1 of 1)-3

These little chickadee's always make me smile.

I'll be back with another card tomorrow.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs
Jaydee
