Mediterranean Moments for Paper Players # 340

Hi Everyone.

It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a clean and simple theme challenge for us:

When I saw this challenge I really wasn't sure what I was going to do.  In my mind I went through the list of stamps that I had and couldn't think of anything other than a children's set that had a vehicle on it.   Mmmm... what to do?    In times like this, I sort out things, tidy up things and re-arrange things.  It was then that I realized I had my new Stampin' Up! set called Mediterranean Moments and that had a stamp with a vehicle in it.  In fact, a very Italian vehicle.  A Vespa!

So, I inked up the stamp, pulled out my colored pencils, and got to work :-)

Here's my card:

Of course, the Vespa HAD to be red.   I thought the "missing you" sentiment worked well with the empty  Vespa.  I really do love this set and it really does remind me of France/Italy.

I hope you will join us and play along this week.  If you are looking for some inspiration, you have to look no further than our wonderful design team:

On a personal note:

Oh, man!  It poured and poured and poured today.   In the middle of the torrential rain, we had lots of sunshine and a wonderful rainbow appeared over the wetland late in the afternoon.  What made it so interesting, was that the clouds were still really grey - and there was no obvious sun, but a pale rainbow is better than no rainbow - and made me smile.

The trees might be bare and the grass still brown - but I know that the green will start to appear very soon because of all the wonderful rain that we have had.

I'll be back on Monday with another card.   In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight and, have a blessed Easter, everyone.

Hugs

Jaydee
