Smile for Addicted to CAS #108

 Hi Everyone

Happy Saturday.  I hope you are all enjoying this April Fool's Day weekend :-)

It's the fabulous Susan's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge and she has a perfect word for us:

I must admit it is a gorgeous day to smile today... it's going to be 61 degrees here and sunny and my early morning alarm this morning was the ring knecked pheasant calling in our little woodland.  What a great way to awake from my slumber!

For my card today, I went back to my CAS ways - single focal point and lots of white space... not like my last Addicted to CAS card..... which had too much going on :-)

I stamped the cat and then stamped his little friends on top of his tail and set about coloring all of the elements.   Why purple?  No idea... and it isn't even my favorite color, but it just seemed like a purple cat kind of day :-)

Here's my card:

I hope you will play along with us this week and if you do, and are chosen as the winner, our fabulous sponsor - and challenge creator - Kylie owner of Happy Little Stampers - has a wonderful prize:

If you are looking for some inspiration.  You have to look no further than our fabulous design team and our guest designer - AsaJ - and I am obsessed with her wonderful marbled rainbow card.

On a personal note:

Well, it was back to work this week after our fabulous little sujourin in the Caribbean.  the ship we were on was pretty small (only 400) passengers, so we were able to get into some of the lesser travelled islands and some of them were gorgeous.   Hard to pick my favorite but it would definitely be between Guadeloupe, Jost van Dyke and Dominica.  Loved them all for very different reasons.  St Barths was amazing - a little like St Tropez back in the 70s - with the mega-million private yachts to boot!

The weather was glorious - in the low to mid-80s but with lower than expected humidity.  Still too humid for my hair though, which tends to go very frizzy in even the slightest levels of humidity.  It was wonderful to get away, switch off - no work calls or emails - and just have a week long date with hubby.

I'll be back with my Paper Players card tomorrow - and some photos to share with you.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.

Hugs

Jaydee
