Hi Everyone. Popping in with a quick post for you tonight. I saw this great sketch across at Freshly made Sketches. I used my Studio Katia stitched rectangle to create the rounded element and realized that it would fit a brand new stamp that I bought. I fell in love with this little image when I was looking for stamps to create some fun cards for the Cards for Hospitalized Kids charity. It really is such a cute image and was fun to color. It would also be create to paper piece. I stamped the image directly on the shaped... Read more →

Hi Everyone. It's the fabulous Nance's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a great sketch for us: I had so many ideas going around in my head for this sketch, but finally settled on my new Enchanted Iris set from Altenew. I love this set and it's a joy to color. For the vertical side panel, I used my brick stencil to make it feel as though the iris was growing in front of the wall. I needed a thank you card for another colleague who has been a complete brick (excuse the pun!)... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday. It's the fabulous Carolyn's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge and she has a great code word for us this week: Our challenge creator, Kylie, is offering up our sponsor prize this week for the winner. She's offering up a $15 gift certificate and the winner can choose from an array of fabulous items. Our guest designer for this challenge is Lynn Mangan and I hope you will visit her blog and leave her some love for her beautiful, leafy card. For my card, I decided to go with a natural white and pulled... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. It's my turn to host our Paper Player's challenge this week featuring Sandy's fabulous choice of Clean and Simple with a theme of Feathered Friends. This challenge is so perfect for me that I cannot believe I didn't think of it! However, I get to have the fun of hosting for Sandy while she is taking a well earned break. There were SO many sets I could have used for this challenge, but I decided to create a card for a friend at work who has been very supportive over the last few difficult months. I... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Thursday. I have a couple more cards to share with you tonight using the Color Layering Bengal Tigers, one of the additional items from the Hero Arts June 2017 Monthly card kit. I bought this set because I am making cards for the charity Cards for Hospitalized Kids and I thought the images and sentiments would be ideal for cards. I also used the fabulous bronze paper that was included in the card kit and paired it with the Tribal Shapes Stencil, also an additional item to the kit. Instead of using the stencil as a stencil,...
