Spring Daisy for Paper Players #364

It's a Beautiful Day for Addicted to CAS # 121

Hi Everyone.  Happy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Ellenor's turn to host our ATCAS challenge this week and she has a great code word for us:

I hope you will play along with our challenge this week.  We can't wait to see what you create with YOUR favorite stamp!  If you play along, and are chosen as the winner, we have a great prize for you one that is donated by our fabulous challenge creator - Kylie at Happy Little Stampers

Kylie is offering a $15 gift certificate to the winner

It was hard for me to choose my favorite stamp, so I had to carefully look through all my florals - I knew it would have to be a floral and I landed on the first Altenew set that I bought.  I love the outline stamp and have made many cards with it.  I've used the layering stamps, I've used watercolor paints, I've used my Zig Real brush markers and I've used my Prismas.  It really is such an incredibly versatile set.  For tonight's card, I went with bold colors - ones I don't normally put together.  I went looking for some inspiration, but couldn't find just the right colors - so I decided to create my own :-)

Here's a closeup of the flower, including a little bit of purple glitter in the middle !  Sorry about the glare on the right hand side :-)

Beautiful Day closeup (1 of 1)

To add a little interest to the background, I used my stylus and my scoring tool to create some horizontal and vertical lines to help ground the flower.  I stamped the leaves using the layering colors and added a sentiment.

If you are looking for some inspiration, you have to look no further than the cards from our amazing design team - including our guest designer for this challenge - Haris.  You are going to love her beautiful pink bouquet.  It's a stunningly beautiful CAS card.

I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

Oh yes, I can see why you chose this bloom as your fave, Jaydee! Beautiful coloring and really fabulous details, especially the purple sparkle! I also love how you added the score lines on your card, they really make the flower pop! Stunning card, as always, my friend!

Love your CAS card and such a beautiful flower stamp. I do like the textured lines you added along with the bit of sparkle you added to the flower. Just gives it that little extra something without it being overpowering.
Great job and great inspiration.
May you have a wonderful and enjoyable day. HaPpY StAmPiNg.
