Hello Gorgeous for Addicted to CAS # 123
Peace on Earth for Paper Players # 369

Reindeer and Birdie for Paper Players # 368

Hi Everyone.  Happy Sunday.

It's my turn to host the Paper Players challenge this week and I have a tic-tac-toe challenge for you:

I decided to give everyone the chance to make a Christmas card, a fall card or any card with a butterfly.  This was because our Antipodean friends are going into Spring and I thought they might want to make something less seasonal:-)

I decided to go vertical on the first column:  Tree, Christmas and Silver and/or gold.  I have this super cute little stamp from Stamping Bella called Reindeer and Bird.  It has a tree.  It is a Christmas stamp.  All I needed was the silver/gold element - so I decided to go with gold embossing, a gold card base - and to color the reindeer gold!  Oh!  And, of course, I had to give him a red nose :-)

Here's my card:

Reindeer and Birdie (1 of 1)

I hope you will join us and play along this week.  As usual, if you are looking for some inspiration, you only have to check out the fabulous cards from our very talented design team:

On a personal note:

Well, the white stuff is still here... and it seems to have pushed out the sun.  One of the great things about living in Minnesota is that we get these amazingly sunny days with bright blue skies - even when it's 30 degrees below.  We don't often have these dull, grey days.  When we do... it reminds me of my childhood in England!  :-)   It is lovely to watch the seasons change over the wetland and the woodland and even though it is all brown right now, I know that it will be green again soon :-)

I only managed to make a single card yesterday - for some reason my head just wasn't it the right place for crafting.  Do you ever have those days?  When you want to make something, but nothing works and you try and try - and still nothing works?  Well, that was me yesterday.  In fact my first two cards ended up in the bin.  SO, I am hoping that I might have better luck today.

Oh!  and Evelyn B.  I will recreate the rose from last week's post so that I can tell you the colors that I used for it.  I do have a couple of tips for using this particular stamp - so will type those up for you as well.

I'll be back in a couple of days with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
