Sparkly packages wrapped up in bows for Addicted to CAS #126
09 December 2017
Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday.
It's the last challenge of the year at AddictedtoCAS and it's the turn of our fabulous challenge leader, Kylie to choose the codeword for this week.
There are so many places you can go with this challenge word and I hope that you will play along with us.
I decided to go especially clean and simple and showcase a die that I don't get to use very often. I die cut the package in both gold and silver glimmer paper and popped them off a Neenah Solar White layer. For the base, I went with a shimmery white card stock as I liked the softer white backdrop to the silver and gold parcel.
Of course, I needed a sentiment - and thought this one was ideal :-) Here's my card:
If you are looking for some inspiration, you have to look no further than our fabulous design team creations, including that of our very talented guest designer Janet. I know you will love her fabulous shimmery Christmas tree! Janet also lives on a very beautiful island in the Indian Ocean. I've visited the island many times and have very fond memories of my time there.
The winner of our challenge this week also receives a prize from Kylie's store. Kylie has very generously donated a $15 gift voucher for our winner.
On a personal note:
I am off to my craft room to try to make some Christmas cards!!! I'll let you know how that goes when I post my Paper Players card tomorrow. Oh... yeah! I have to go and make that card, too!
I'll be back tomorrow. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Such a sweet card, and the sentiment is perfect :)
