Hi Everyone I saw this great challenge across at AAA Cards Wow... now that made me stop and think. How do I create a card using only die-cuts - no stamping! I had such fun with this challenge and decided to make the most of some DSP and a couple of Dies. You might recognize one of the elements from my post yesterday :-) Here's a closeup of the elements from the two die-cuts I used - a sentiment and a butterfly. I took a piece of the fabulous DSP from Altenew - I love the big, bold, graphical images... Read more →
Hi Everyone. I have a card and a winner announcement for you in tonight's post :-) Firstly, let's start with the card. I needed to make a Valentine's card for a very good friend... heck... why shouldn't we send pretty cards to our girlfriends... Read more →
Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Sandy's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a sketch for us: This is such a versatile sketch and I decided to take it in a more masculine route using some of the great Hey Dude masculine papers from My Mind's Eye. You've seen me use this set from My Favorite Things before. I really like the sentiments - and the die-cuts for the bottle and the wine glasses. I took one of the distinctive papers and used it as the horizontal element in the sketch, as well... Read more →

I then die cut the leaves and then filled in the gaps between the embossed barbs of the feather with 4 different colors of green/blue inks. I didn't have the exact color of cardstock to complement the embossed... Read more →
