Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday. Its the fabulous Bobby's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she has a wonderful code word for us: Now, there is still snow on the ground here, so it's been a while since we really saw a good downpour of rain and, I must admit, I am really looking forward to just feeling a good downpour :-) In fact, when I made this card we hadn't seen rain for about 4 months, as it was early February and all we had seen here in Minnesota was....... snow! I almost called this... Read more →
Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday night. I did manage to get some time in my craft room this afternoon and created some cards for my classes at AECP. Tonight's card is for the Magical Marker Techniques class. One of the lessons was to use Copic markers to color metallic stickers. Well, that technique is exactly what I needed for tonight's card as I needed gold strips and only had silver! My challenge was to get this many pieces onto a card and still try to make it feel like me. In the... Read more →

So, how could I do that and still icnorporate a rainbow - one of the lessons from the In the Mood for Color, too :-) I looked through my stamp sets and decided that... Read more →
Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday. I have a quick post for you tonight. My most recent class across at Altenew was Impressive Heat Embossing and, once again, I thought I knew a lot about embossing, but still learned things - one of the techniques I used on tonight's card, in fact! I also went looking for a sketch to inspire me - and found this great one across at Casethissketch Although, when I went to assemble my card, I had to reverse the sketch in order to get my flower and leaves to work - so I hope they will forgive...
