Hugs, kisses and fairy wishes for Paper Players #389

Hi Everyone.

It's the fabulous Sandy's turn to host our Paper Players challenge for us this week and she has a wonderful theme for us:

Now, I love this theme.... but I am totally in love with Nance's amazing badge this week!

I really wanted to make an interactive card and decided to make a shaker card using some old Martha Stewart sequins from my stash.

I stamped the fairy image and colored it with my Copic markers.  I then cut out an oval from fun foam and added the sequins inside it to cover the fairy.   I then mounted all of that on.... well..... mmmm.... purple cardstock!   3 purple cards in a week!

Here's my card:
Fairy Wishes PP AECP With a Twist (1 of 1)-2
You can see that I finished off the card by stamping some stars with Versamark ink.  I hope you will join us and play along this week.   If you are looking for some inspiration, you have to look no further than the cards from our fabulous design team:

On a personal note:

Errrrr..... over a foot of snow over the last 24 hours with a possible 5" more on the way.  Lou is heading out to blow the snow - and I'm going to my craft room where I am going to pretend it is the middle of summer and there is no more snow in the forecast for months :-)  I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.

Hugs

Jaydee

Oh Jaydee, this is truly magical! The coloring is perfect and I love the sentiment. The sprinkled stamping of stars adds to the movement of the whole design--love it!

Look at you Jaydee, three purple cards in a week! I've loved them all, and this one is absolutely fabulous with your sweet little fairy image. It certainly is a magical scene, especially with all that glitter floating around. But a foot of snow?! You have my sympathies. No snow in NY this week, but its awfully cold and windy. Let's all make fairy wishes for summer!

Such a beauty - it's just like an illustration in a children's book. Being a shaker makes it even better. Those versamark stars on the purple front are just the perfect finishing detail. I hope there's warm weather ahead for you this week.

Jaydee, your fairy is beautiful and your coloring is amazing! Love all the sequins and stars! Truly a magical card! I can not believe you have all that snow! Is Spring ever coming? Stay warm and safe, My Friend! XX

This is the winter that just won’t quit!

What an adorable little fairy...love her expression as she looks at that little dragon fly! Great sentiment too!

Your card is just magical...from the darling fairy to the sparkling shaker. Love it! Hope you're having a good week in spite of the winter that just won't seem to quit! Hugs, Annie

This card is just pretty Jaydee! A delicate illustration and so beautifully coloured - like something out of a fairytale! Loving the purple too. More snow?! Yikes! We have finally had 3 days of glorious weather here in the UK, so my crafting has had to wait - I've been rescuing my garden!
