Hi Everyone. Happy Monday and greetings from Minnesota where it is currently.... wait for it..... 70 degrees!!!! It has been a glorious day! I have a couple of cards that I made for the Altenew Parents Card drive. One of my favorite ever sets from Stampin' Up! is Wetlands. Although it is retired, it is one of the sets that will stay in my collection forever :-) I decided to use it and make a couple of simple Father's Day cards. I used some old card stock from my stash to add a little color to the bases. I made... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Claire's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a Tic Tac Toe for us: I decided we had seen more than enough PURPLE! these last couple of weeks, so it was wonderful to have an excuse to go with yellow! I mounted the front panel onto a piece of Shimmer Gold card stock from Stampin' Up! I love this card stock and... Read more →

It was such an easy card to put together. To add a little bit of shimmer and shine, I added some foil to the middle of the flower by covering the dots from the stamp with a glue... Read more →

I completed the final project for my final class of the Altenew Educator Certification Program. YAY... :-) and today's card is for that final class. The class is Polychromatic and one of the lessons is to create a card using pastels and no line coloring with Copic markers. This was a lesson that was very close to my heart. I love coloring, but still find no-line coloring tough, so it was really good to have an excuse to do some practice for my final class... Read more →
