Girlfriends for As You See It

Hi Everyone

Happy Tuesday.  I have a quick post for you tonight using the fabulous sketch across at As you See It

I received a new set from My Favorite Things in the post last week.  I purchased a couple of new sets - ones that are very different for me :-)  But I just love the stamps in the set.

As this challenge called for creating queues of things (hey.... I'm English we were born to queue!!!!) I used several of the stamps to create the little queues.  Starting with the greenery stamps and then filling in the spaces with the fishy stamps.

I had fun coloring the images with my Copic markers and then, of course, I had to add some gel pen for a little glimmer and shine - especially around the bubbles that I stamped :-)

Here's a closeup:

I used some patterned paper from Altenew for the base of the card and die-cut out the focal area with a stitched rectangle, stamped the sentiment and then mounted the focal images onto some fun foam.

Here's my full card....oh... and I have NO idea why the white looks green-yellow!!!!

Then, I had to decorate the inside:

I'll be back with another card tomorrow.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

Oh, Jaydee, this is sooooo sweet and soooo pretty!I love those little fish. I have a fish set and considered using it for this card too and now I'm wishing I had when I see how beautiful yours is! Good choice of paper for the base too - very aquatic. Thank you for joining us again at As You See It Challenge.

This little queue is adorable! You've balanced all the elements you've added perfectly, and coloured them even more perfectly! This was a great way to interpret the sketch, Jaydee! Thanks for sharing this with our gallery at As You See It Challenges
