Be a Lighthouse for Paper Craft Crew

Hi Everyone.  Happy Sunday.

This is my second post for today - and it's a quick one.   I wanted to share a masculine birthday card I made for a bestie.  I love the Altenew "Be a Lighthouse" set for masculine cards.  It's easy to stamp the images and it's also easy to color.  to add to the masculine feel, I added some striped DSP from a very, very old pack of SU DSP.  I think it's so old it pre-dates this decade!  I've kept it though, because of the pinstripes!

Before we get to my card, let's take  a look at the sketch from the Paper Craft Crew Challenge

I started by die-cutting a stitched circle and then stamped the images onto the circle and colored them with my Copic Markers.  I mounted the circle onto the card base with some fun foam and did the same with the sentiment.  As this is a masculine card, all embellishments were kept to a minimum.... like... nothing :-)

Here's my card:

I used the same images to decorate the inside of the card and added sentiments from the Altenew Beautiful Inside set.

I used the images on the envelope, too.

On a personal note:

As this our last day of holiday, it's back to the grindstone tomorrow.  Having been out for two weeks, work is going to be pretty hectic for a couple of days, so I won't be blogging until later in the week.   In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
