Mediterranean Moments for the Library Challenge #24
15 January 2019
Hi Everyone.
Happy Tuesday.
I promised to share another card with you that I made on the weekend. It's still cloudy, dull and grey here - so I had to take the best shot that I could on the windowsill!
The Library Challenge has a great inspiration book cover for us this week.
I love the colors... but the focal image reminded me of the Stampin' Up! Set - Mediterranean Moments. I decided it would be perfect for my card.
I stamped the image onto Neenah Solar White 80# card stock and then colored the image with my Copics. I took a couple of gel pens and added some shimmer to the metal parts of the vespa and added a couple of glimmery flowers to the pots. It was hard to get a decent shot of the glimmer because of the clouds, but I did manage to catch it on one angle. Here's a closeup:
You can see that I kept with the turquoise and yellow theme. I die-cute the focal image and then mounted it onto a Pool Party card stock mat and then attached it to the card base with some fun foam. The sentiment is from the Fun Stamper's Journey "Le Cafe" set.
Here's my card:
I hope you check out the Library Challenge - it really is a fun and unique challenge.
On a personal note:
I'd like to take a moment to thank all of you that have left such lovely comments about my cards. As many of you know, I've been suffering in the creativity department these last couple of months, and your wonderful comments have really helped as I try to drag myself out of my creative funk!
I'll be back on Friday with my Addicted to CAS card - and the winner of the blog candy. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Your posts and cards keep me going these days. I am still recovering from major surgery a year ago. My hope is I will see some improvement now.
So keep your posts coming I enjoy them thoroughly. Many HUGS sent your way.
