Snowflake Kisses for ATCAS #150

Hi Everyone.  Happy Saturday.

It's our first Addicted to CAS Challenge for 2019 and it's the turn of the fabulous Angie to host and it's also Angie's first challenge with the ATCAS team.  Angie joins us along with three new members Vicki, Raga and Toni.  Welcome to the team, ladies.

Angie's code word is:

When I was reorganizing my stamps a couple of weeks ago, I "found" this snowflake stamp that I had forgotten about.  I thought it would go really well with a sentiment from Penny Black.

I stamped the snowman and his friend onto Neenah Solar White #80 card stock and colored them all in.  This really was a quick and easy card and the coloring was really simple.  I used the 80# cardstock as I was coloring with Copic Markers and didn't want them to bleed through to the inside of the card.  Once I had finished coloring, I adhered the 80#$ panel to the front of a 110# card base.

Here's the front of my card:

Aren't these two just the cutest?  I think they are adorable.

I used a Penny Black sentiment for the inside, too:

When I was editing the photo, I realized that there are problems with having cats on your crafting table when you are trying to make cards.  A little cat hair seems to have gotten attached to the sentiment stamp and has left a little mark between the "s" and the "t".  Grrr.... nowhere to hide on CAS cards :-)

I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge this week.  We would love to see what you create with Angie's code word.  If you are looking for some inspiration, you have to look no further than the cards from our incredible design team, including our guest designer - Hilary.

On a personal note:

There might be snow on the ground here, but it got into the 40s today.  This meant that Lou was able to get rid of some of the ice from the driveway that had been sticking around since the last snow/rain/ice storm we had at Christmas.  Makes it much easier getting to the post box now :-)

I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
