HI Everyone.
Happy Saturday. This is my second post today :-). I'm popping in to share a card I made for The Card Concept and Freshly Made Sketches
Here's the sketch from FMS:
and here's the inspiration photo from Card Concept:
As soon as I saw the inspiration photo from the Card Concept I knew what I was going to do. I pulled out a very old piece of photo DSP from Stampin' Up! and blended Broken China ink over the top of it to give it a similar color to the inspiration photo. I then stamped and fussy cut 4 shells from the old Fun Stamper's Journey Seaside Treasures set. I adhered two shells directly to the base and popped the starfish up on a single foam dot, and then the mussel shell was adhered on two foam dots.
I used a little gel pen to add just a little shimmer and shine:
I backed the panel onto black card stock and added a sentiment. Here's my card:
I also decorated the inside. I took a piece of card stock that is a similar color to the outside and adhered that to the base.
I then decorated a grey envelope:
I tried to ensure the colors were masculine enough that I could send this as a male card, but think that they work equally well for a female card :-)
I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
