Sending Smiles for Addicted to CAS #154

Hi Everyone.

It's the fabulous Ceal's turn to host our Addicted to CAS Challenge and she has a great code word for us:

Before I get to the challenge... I have to tell you that this word is synonymous with one of my favorite all time movie clips from Despicable Me.   When Agnes sees the unicorn and shouts "it's so fluffly, I'm gonna die".  Honestly, the cutest!

So...  There were so many different ways to go with this code word.  In the end I went with something very clean and simple... appropriate for a CAS challenge, I think:-)

I recently purchased a super sweet set from Ellen Hutson called Latte Love.  I love (pun intended!) that you can personalize your cappuccino toppings.  My favorite coffee, btw!

As I am making more cards for SendASmile4Kids, I decided to create several of these cards to add to the growing collection.

To customize my cappuccino, I added a little cat peaking out of the top (that's the fluffy part for the challenge!).   I have lots more ideas with this set, so will be sharing those with you in the coming weeks.

I hope you will play along with us.  As usual, the fabulous design team have some amazing inspiration for you, including our talented guest designer Michele Ferguson

Sending Smile (1 of 1)

On a personal note:

I know I haven't blogged this week, but I hope you will forgive me.  I've spent a couple of hours every evening making cards for the kids.  I'm currently up to about 200 :-). I will be finishing off the kids cards this weekend and hiding out in my craft room.  Why am I hanging out in my craft room.  BECAUSE IT'S SNOWING AGAIN..... oh... and let's not talk about the -40 temps coming our way again.  We had over 35 inches of snow in February, breaking 60 year old records.  As March is coming in like a Lion, with another 4-5 inches expected.... it doesn't look as though we are getting any reprieve soon.

I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
