You're the Bees Knees for Addicted to CAS #158

Hi Everyone.  Happy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Raga's turn to host our Addicted to CAS Challenge and this is her code word:

I was really tempted to do florals, but, as I needed some cards for Cards4hospitalizedkids, I decided not to :-).  I looked in my stash and found this cute little bumble bee.  He/she comes with different facial expressions and even has accessories like a hair bow!   So, for my contrast I am going with black and yellow.

I wasn't quite sure what I was going to use for a sentiment until I looked through my stamps and realized I had the perfect sentiment from the Hero Arts kit from a couple of months ago.   It was perfect!

Here's my card:

Bees Knees (1 of 1)-2

Isn't that the cutest?  It makes me smile looking at it :-)

I hope you will play along with us this week.  The design team have some gorgeous creations as inspiration for you, including our guest designer this week Kuni.  Her little parcel packing elephants are adorable!

On a personal note:

Well, winter hasn't quite let go yet - more snow is on the way!  Luckily we are just a few miles too far north for it to hit us - and will all be going south of us.  I really don't think I could take another round of snow again this weekend :-). The temps are just warm enough - and there has been just enough rain and sunshine, for us to start seeing the early green buds on some of our trees and our early flowering plants.  OH YEAH!  Spring is definitely on the way.  I hope to be able to start taking some nature shots again.

I've also been really busy this last week trying to finish up the last of the big spring clean.  Lou still has the garage to do - and that's not going to be an easy job.  It really is amazing how much stuff can accumulate in the garage!  I've also been doing some online classes and am contemplating doing a cookery class... but the time commitment of another 10+ hours a week on top of work and my other classes... I'm thinking I might skip this round and sign up the next time the course comes around.

I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
