Hi Everyone
Happy Monday.
I made a card for the challenge across at Time Out - I loved the idea of the playful theme:
I decided to have a little fun with a Penny Black set called Joyful Holidays.
I stamped the deer - carrying an envelope - onto Neenah Solar White card stock and colored it with my Prismas.
I then took the British postbox stamp from the same set and added that to the left of the deer.
I decided not to color the post box because the bright red box would have completely pulled the eye away from that awfully cute deer!
Of course, I didn't have the exact sentiment I needed, so I created one of my own - continuing the "playful" theme.
Here's my card:
Then... I didn't have quite the right inside sentiment, either. So, I had a little fun creating my own. I typed it up and printed it out onto Neenah Solar White #80 paper and die-cut it to match the outside.
I had such fun creating this card and always like it when I can make my stamps stretch a little further :-)
I'll be back on Wednesday with another card and some nature photos. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
