Stampin! with Jaydee

Hi Everyone.  Hppy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Ceal's turn to host ouor Addicted to CAS challenge and she has a theme that most of us can really relate to right now!  I also want to thank my Addictd to CAS team for their patience and picking up for me whilst I was unable to card!

Considering it was over 90 degrees with 88% humidity when I made this card, it was certainly hot:-) 

As I am still recovering from hand surgery, CAS is as much as I can manage right now, this was a perfect challenge.

I used my Tim Holtz stencil to create sun rays and outlined them in the fabulous glitter pens that my bestie, Pam, bought me for my birthday.   I added two colors of Distress Inks and then die-cut the panel and stamped my sentiment.  I added a couple of different enamel dots and mounted the panel onto a plain white base.

With one hand and two fingers on the other, the hardest thing about creating this card was trying to get the panel straight!  But I managed!

On a personal note:

I continue to do my exercises 5x+ per day and it really is helping to get the joints and tendons moving and it feels good for the skin on my hand to get some fresh air :-)

Most of the photographs I have taken are just not in focus!  However, I did manage to capture a shot of one of my favorite jelly visitors - the catbird.  We have two pairs that are nesting in the cypress trees and I love to hear their mewing call. 

They really are such a fabulous little bird!   I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card and another bird photo.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
