Spring Daisy for Addicted to CAS

Hi Everyone,.  Happy Saturday.

I have a very quick post for you tonight,.

It's the fabulous Bobby's turn to host our Addicted to Cas Challenge this week and this is her code word:

I decided it was time to pull out my old Altenew Spring Daisy set.  I paired it with a die from Ellen Hutson Essentials and a sentiment from Stampin' Up.  Here's my card:

Spring Daisy (1 of 1)

I stamped the outline of the flower in Stazon Timber Brown and used some Altenew inks for the inside of the daisy.  I needed a horizontal element to ground the sentiment and the Ellen Hutson embossing die was the perfect thing.

As usual, our amazing design team have some fabulous inspiration for you.  I hope you will check out their designs at Addictedtocas.

More importantly, we can't wait to see what you create with this codeword!

I'll beback tomorrow with my Paper Players card - and the winner of the blog candy..  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Such a pretty daisy and I love how you used your inks to color the petals and leaves! Love
your splatters, too! Such a lovely CAS card, Jaydee!

I am so sorry to hear of your experience and the damage you received from your fall. I pray that you will have a total recovery and you will be like new. When we got our emus my husband was putting up the 6' horse fencing when somehow the roll came back to him and picked him up and threw him and he hurt his ankle. We were new to the area and I heard of one orthopedist so I took him to the clinic and waited for about 30 minutes to see if the doctor would see him. We really messed up his schedule that day. Carl had to be taken to surgery immediately and the doctor said putting back his ankle was like putting together a puzzle and as if he had been riding a motorcycle at 5o mph. He was off work for three months. He still has a metal plate and 10 screws in his ankle. Because of all that my neighbor helped me put up the fence and build a house. What a terrible experience. Thankfully, he is doing just fine. The next year I broke my ankle trying to step over chicken wire and somehow got my shoe got stuck. I was just trying to get my chickens some greens to eat. At least my break wasn't bad. I had to be in a cast for 6 weeks. When you don't use your appendages they get so stiff. I didn't think my ankle would hold me up. I am terribly sorry for what you are going through. It makes me so mad how just a little misstep or tripping over something can do so much damage. Take good care of yourself.

Jaydee, this is gorgeous. I love the sparse coloring on your flower and leaves. The sentiment is so great, and that little line of embossing beneath the sentiment looks fantastic!!

So pretty, that background is stunning - the whole card is fabulous!

This is one of my favorite daisy stamps, Jaydee, and you've brought it to life with your stamping. I love the addition of that little big of embossing.

This is so gorgeous Jaydee! Love the perfect splattering which adds interests to the card!
