The love of an animal
16 July 2019
Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday.
I have a quick pos for you tonight.
Now y'all know by now that I'm crazy about animals and am "that" crazy cat lady and I always feel for fellow nimal lovers when they lose a four legged friend. Two weeks ago I heard about a fellow crafter who had to unexpectedly say goodbye to her beloved dog. This was a very special dog - a dog who had helped an owner get through chemo. She posted some photos on her blog and one of them stuck with me - a beautiful dog running along the beach with a huge smile on his face. that dog was so happy. When I was thinking about the card I was going to make, I knew it had to have doggy footprints in the sand. As it was the first card I had made sine my hand surgery, I wasn't up to being able to do a lot, so went with something simple. This old SU set was the perfect backdrop.
The sentiment on the inside comes from a card we were sent a few months ago, when we had to say goodbye to one our little beloved babies. I kept the card because I thought the sentiment was so beautiful. I typed it up and put it on the inside.
Here's my card:
And here's the sentiment.
That truly is a beautiful sentiment - and so true.
I'll be back later in the week with some photos... I'm still trying to get a decent shot of the elusive white "thing". Didn't see my post - you can catch it here
In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
