Christmas Day for Paper Players #455

Hi everyone.  Happy Sunday.

It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge and it's theme week:

This challenge was right up my alley!  I've spent the last two weeks making cards for my final 2019 batch to be sent off to SendaSmile4Kids.  The hardest part was choosing which card to showcase for the challenge:-)  In the end, I went with a Christmas card.

Christmas Day (1 of 1)

The snowman and the sentiment are from an Echo Park scrapbooking kit that I repurposed to make Christmas cards for the kids.  I mounted both of the elements on fun foam and put them onto a Neenah Solar white card base.  Quick, and oh so easy!

I hope you will play along with us this week.  As usual, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

On a personal note:

NO!!! I saw the first falling leaves and trees turning this weekend.  I am SO not ready for summer to end.  It only got started two months ago!  Our southern visitors have left and have begun their migration back.  The hummer is the only one we have seen in the last couple of days.  I really do miss the Orioles waking us up at 5.30 in the morning waiting for their food and the beautiful call of the Grosbeak.  Even the cat bird has stopped mewing and presumably gone with the rest of them.  However, we still get to admire the bright yellow of the Goldfinch and the bright red of the Cardinal, so there is still a lot of activity at the feeders.

I'll be back later in the week with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

Oh my gosh, Jaydee! I adore this card. This has to be one of the cutest snowmen ever. This card will definitely bring a smile to some child's face for sure! Great job!

Wanda Cullen

I'm a sucker for all snowman images and this one is such a cutie! I'm hanging on to summer as well though the fall vibes are beginning to show every now and then in my cards and most recently in home decor! :-)

Wanda Cullen

I absolutely love anything with snowman images and this card especially caught my eye! Love it!

Just love that cute snowman!! The kids will love getting this one in the mail. I have seen some leaves changing colors already here...I think fall is right around the corner!

Su Mohr

Jaydee, your snowman is absolutely adorable, and I love the simplicity! I'm not ready for summer to end, either!

Windy Ellard

I love snowmen and collect them! So this adorable guy made me smile! Love the clean and simple feel, too!

This is the perfect clean and simple card Jaydee! That little snowman is just too cute and will bring a smile to a child's face for sure. I am so not ready for autumn; we are forecast a late Indian summer here in the next few weeks (just as the kids are back to school!) so I'm hopeful autumn will take its time. Great job on my challenge this week!

Oh, this snowman makes me SMILE! He is just adorable. I love snowmen, but I don't care for snow. I am so not ready for Fall, but it is coming. The days are getting shorter already. Your card would bring Christmas cheer to anyone! Have a wonderful weekend, My Friend! XX

Jaydee, your card is absolutely adorable and I love that you donate cards to bring joy to others. As always, you are the clean of CAS and this one is no exception. Love it! Please send some of that fall weather my way. It's still over 100 degrees here in Texas and we are ready for a break. Have a great day, friend! Hugs!
