Happy Tuesday. I have a quick post for you tonight feating the same set that I used for my Paper Players card this week - SugarPlums from Pink and Main. These images are so outside of my normal comfort zone, but when I saw the challenge across at Just Add Ink, I thought this image was perfect for a card to send of to SendASmile4Kids. Who could resist cupcakes and sugar plum fairies :-)
I saw this great sketch across at casethissketch
I stamped the Sugar Plum Fairy onto Neenah Solar White card stock and colored her with my Luminance pencils. Of course, I had to add some glimmer and shine..... after all, she is a fairy!
Here's a closeup of the shimmer and shine:
I added shimmer to the cupcake , her shoes and, of course, her wings!
Here she is in all her glory:
Isn't she seriously just adorable???? I had such fun coloring her and hope that there is a little girl in hospital who will love receiving this over Christmas.
I did make a couple of other cards whilst I was having "me" time in my craft room this weekend, so I will have those to share with you. However..... the stitched circles are STILL MIA!!!
I'll be back with another card tomorrow - in the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
