Hi Everyone. Happy SUnday.
It's the fabulous Ann's turn to host our Paper Players Challenge this week and it's sketch week:
When you take a look at the design team creations, you will realize how wonderfully versatile the sketch is! There is some wonderful inspiration for you in the gallery.
I decided to keep it pretty simple and close to the sketch. The only thing I had to do was move the sentiment. It was a very easy card to pull together and a great way to showcase the fabulous DSP as well as the stamp set.
Here's my card:
I hope you will join us and play along. We can't wait to see what you do with the sketch. You can see the design team inspirations on their blogs:
On a personal note:
It's cold, grey, windy and dreary here today. The last of the leaves are getting ready to drop from the trees and the gardens are carpeted with a gorgeous selection of leaves. Lou and I don't do much raking and we certainly don't blow the leaves and bag them. There are so many great reasons not to rake leaves, including what they do for wildlife. You can check out an article that explains these reasons in more detail here. Plus, I just love looking at them and watching the birds turn over the leaves and rummage among them looking for food :-)
I did get to play in my craft room yesterday, so will have some cards to share with you now that we are back. I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Jaydee, this is so fabulous! I love the nautical design! The colors are so soothing, too! Wish I was somewhere warm sailing on that little boat! Have a great weekend! XX

Wonderfully simple creation, but that big sentiment really packs a punch! I just love this sketch and it looks great with your sailboat and nautical paper!

What a perfect masculine card, Jaydee! This set and paper are among my favorites, and so is this card! I love how the card maintains a clean and simple vibe, yet has layers. You definitely worked your magic on this sketch! Thank you for showing off its versatility!!!

Awesome nautical card Jaydee! I love that paper and the thick font of the sentiment too. Fun!

I just love this card Jaydee - the sailboat and the paper co-ordinate beautifully and it is such a great masculine card. A fantastic interpretation of the sketch. It's wet and grey here too - sounds like winter is on the way for us all! Have a good week.
