Super Hero Fun for AA and Inkspirational

Hi Everyone.

Happy Monday.  When I got to play in my craft room this weekend, it was all fun.  My cards for my design team commitments are all done of the year, so I was able to play along with some weekly challenges and create just for fun.  I'm making some cards for SendaSmile4kids - and found this fabulous set when my hubby was in Australia.  It's from Paper Rose Studio and is called Super Hero Fun.  It comes with matching dies - which was great for this little guy!

The AAA Card challenge calls for cards made in minutes with an option of ink blending!

And the photo inspiration across at Inkspirational inspired me to create the background behind my little super hero

The card really did come together in minutes.   I blended some yellow ink using the stencil from Paper Rose.  I stamped the little hero and colored him very quickly with my luminance pencils - no shading - just a quick cover of color.  I die-cut him out.  Added three of the power words from the set - and then mounted my little hero on a mini wobbler.  I hope some little super hero gets a kick out of this card!

Super Hero (1 of 1)

I love the way the die-cut includes the exclamation marks around his head!  I'm guessing it's a he :-)

Anyway, I know the AAA and Inkspirational teams would love it if you played along with them this week.  Congratulations to the Inskpirational Challenge team on their 200th challenge!

On a personal note:

We are waiting for the storm to arrive.  Last I checked we were expecting around 6+ inches of snow and about 40 mph winds to hit us starting tomorrow.  Not much fun - at all - for those traveling for Thanksgiving.

Lou spent time yesterday raking leaves and making nice little piles around trees and bushes to act as mulch and also for the critters to hide in.  Errr.. you can imagine what he had to say about that when the leaves started flying around as the winds picked up this afternoon! :-)

I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a lift.  For those of you who are in the path of the storm - stay safe, and warm

Hugs

Jaydee

This is a brilliant card Jaydee! I love the background which makes your little superhero really look as if he's bursting out of the card! I bet the mini wobbler adds to that effect in real life :)
