Stampin! with Jaydee

Hi Everyone.

Happy Tuesday.   I have a card for you today using the challenge across at ShoppingOurStash.  There was no way I could avoid this challenge cos I am obsessed with my Gnomies from Paper Rose Studio.  I just love these little guys and for some reason, I just love Paper Piecing them!  I made this card for Lou.  After 25 years together, sometimes you just need to remind your man that even though he might drive us up the wall occasionally, we still love them! :-)

I began by stamping the gnomie onto patterned paper and onto a piece of card stock.  I fussy cut around his hat, his breeches, his shoes and his gloves and adhered those separately to the gnome stamped on the card base.   I fussy cut him out and then added a mini wobbler behind him.

I left the rest of the card very clean and simple, as I didn't want anything to detract from his full-on cuteness!

Isn't he a cutie???  I just love him.

On a personal note:

Well, my new year resolution of doing something creative every day isn't panning out quite the way I wanted!  But, I do have a card to share with you tomorrow and I am hoping to get some sketch practice in this evening to make up for missing a couple of days!
