HI Everyone. Happy Tuesday. I saw a great one layer challenge across at Less is More this week - and I cannot resist a one layer challenge. It was the perfect opportunity to ink up my Parisian Beauty stamp again. This time I blended my favorite twilight colors onto the card base. I waited for that to dry and then stamped the Eiffel tower and heat set it with embossing powder. I did the same for the sentiment. Here's my card: I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Monday. The team at JAI has a color challenge this week and I am hoping to make it to submit my card before the finishing time... not like last week :-) Here's the challenge: I don't have all the SU colors, so I used my pencils to get me as close as I could. I got the green in the leaves, the yellow in the flowers and the blue in the middle of the flowers and in the sentiment. I chose a neutral greyish green for the shadow behin the flowers. I don't often use blue for... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday - again:-) I have another card for you today. I die-cut the honeycomb and... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. It;s the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's sketch week. I absolutely loved the sketch that Joanne came up with. It was also the perfect opportunity to showcase a die set that Lou brought back from Oz. I loved that he visited a scrapbook/crafting store for me whilst he was down in Oz. I mean.... how amazing was that??? The die that he bought for me was a perfect fit for Joanne's sketch: I die cut - and colored - six birds. I also used my pencils to add... Read more →

HI Everyone. Happy Tuesday. I have a card to share with you tonight using the fun inspiration photo across at Just Add Ink. How could I not play along! the team is celebrating their 10th year of challenges. That's a major achievement. As a member of two design teams, I know the amount of work that goes into bringing challenges to our players every single week. Congratulations JAI - I can't wait to play with many more of your fabulous challenges! I didn't have balloons for my card, but was inspired by the cascading plants and the beautiful pinks and...
