Hi Everyone. Happy Monday. It's a beautiful, bright and sunny day here and the snow is sparkling on the ground. It's days like this when I really don't mind winter! Those of you who have been following my blog for a white may remember that I love pairing Beautiful You with Meditteranean Moments stamp sets from Stampin' Up! So, when I saw the new set Parisian Beauty, I knew I absolutely had to pair Beautiful You with it! For this card, I also added the script stamp from Very Versailles. The sketch across at Casethissketch this week was the perfect... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Very quick post for you tonight :-) I saw this great sketch across at FreshlyMade Now... I love the sketch but..... I don't have any edging dies, so I ended up with the largest oval that I had, but it didn't cut end to end on a 5.5" card! So, I had to improvise. One of the new sets that I got from SU recently is Botanical Prints. I love the stamps. Of course, I also love my hemstitch dies :-) I hope... Read more →

Hi everyone. Happy Saturday. It's our first AddictedtoCAS challenge for 2020 and working with this code word was such a pleasure! I pulled out one of my old stamp sets from Penny Black called "Bundled Up". Generally, I work with this set in Copics. However, for the last several months I have worked entirely in pencil and I am SO glad that I used this medium for this card. I stamped the impage with Stazon London Fog. It was the perfect grey to lay down just the right amount of detail, but still allow me to work with my Luminance... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday. I have a card for you today using the challenge across at ShoppingOurStash. There was no way I could avoid this challenge cos I am obsessed with my Gnomies from Paper Rose Studio. I just love these little guys and for some reason, I just love Paper Piecing them! I made this card for Lou. After 25 years together, sometimes you just need to remind your man that even though he might drive us up the wall occasionally, we still love them! :-) I began by stamping the gnomie onto patterned paper and onto a piece...
