Parisian Blossoms for Just Add Ink

Hi Everyone.  Happy Monday.

The team at JAI has a color challenge this week and I am hoping to make it to submit my card before the finishing time... not like last week :-)

Here's the challenge:

I don't have all the SU colors, so I used my pencils to get me as close as I could.  I got the green in the leaves, the yellow in the flowers and the blue in the middle of the flowers and in the sentiment.  I chose a neutral greyish green for the shadow behin the flowers.  I don't often use blue for sentiments, but think I might do so more often.  It's a lovely change from the starkness of the black.

Here's my card:

It's strange taking photos on my iphone.  My camera is definitely kaput. I can take photos of my cards with my iphone - but not of the visitors to our garden.  So, I need to fix that problem!

I'll be back with another card tomorrow.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
