Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday... again!
I have another card for you today. One that I made from the theme challenge at Shopping Our Stash and the sketch from Atlantic Hearts
I used my Ellen Hutson stitch dies to create the criss cross background on the card. I then used my stitched rectangle to die-cut it and added it to a Neenah Solar White card base. I die-cut the clef three times and adhered them together. I die-cut a stitched oval and stamped the sentiment onto it. I mounted the oval on the criss-cross layer and adhered the clef.
Here's my card:
On a personal note:
I couldn't leave without sharing a photo (well two) of my crafting companion, Charlie. He jumps onto my craft table and sits and watches me, then scatters paper on the floor and rolls in my pencils (for some reason they are like catnip for him - but it's only my Luminance pencils that have that effect!
Then, I walked away to die-cut the elements for this card and came back and found that he had jumped down onto my stool. Obviously it was much warmer than the cold plastic on top of my crafting table! And, from the look on his face - he wasn't in any mood to move :-)
He really is the cutest thing! Considering he had been badly treated and then abandoned miles from anywhere in a corn field when he was three months old..... he's adjusted pretty well I think :-) He's my velcro cat. He is generally not too far from me and when he doesn't know where I am, will stand and meow until I call him so that he can locate me and join me. He's also my sleeping companion. He is always stretched out beside me every night and has taught me to roll over on demand when he wants to cuddle and I have my back to him. He has also perfected the art of waking me up when he wants to get under the blanket. So, it's pretty obvious I don't own Charlie.... I am his slave :-)
I'll be back later with another card and some photos of our wonderful snow fall this morning. In the meantime, hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift
Hugs
Jaydee

What a beautiful kitty Charlie is. I have just found your site through a challenge and I'm loving your creations!

Charlie is to die for! Or better said, to love and obey! That look on his face daring you to remove him from the stool--he is gorgeous enough to get away with it. Your cards are always perfection.

Your card is great......love the stitching on the "envelope". Your Charlie is beautiful.....well, maybe I had better say handsome! We have a cat as well & I only know too well that we are not their owners but their SLAVES!! Looks like you got your camera or is that a phone shot?

This card came out great! I love the dies and triple cutting the clef to create the 3D effect was so smart! Thank you for sharing with AHSC.
