Little Ladybug for Just Add Ink

Hi Everyone.

Happy Sunday - again :-)

A very quick post for you tonight.  I managed to get into my craft room and spend some quality time with my inks, pencils and paper!  I went looking for some inspiration and saw this great sketch across at Just Add Ink:

As soon as I saw this sketch I knew that I wanted to use the new Little Ladybug set.  So, I stamped up the images and got to work with my Prismacolor pencils!  I added some striped DSP (kind of reminded me of grass) :-)

Here's my card:

Little Ladybug (1 of 1)

Such a super cute set - and perfect for the cards for SendASmile4Kids!  I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.  I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Card recipe:

  • Card stock:  Neenah Solar White
  • Stamps:  Little Ladybug - Stampin' Up!
  • DSP:  Stampin' Up!

Ooh!! This is gorgeous Jaydee!! I love what you did with the Little Ladybug set! The flower accented in the oval is such a fantastic idea and I love the ladybug just sitting off to the side. So gorgeously coloured too! Thanks for playing along and supporting us this week at Just Add Ink. Rochelle xo

What a darling card. I have this set and I love to see what others do with it. Your coloring is so beautiful and the idea of the green grass is so clever. Thanks for the ideas.

You coloured this sweet image so beautifully and vibrantly Jaydee. The backing paper is bold but is just the perfect match to the ladybug! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week. Kim

This is gorgeous Jaydee! I love your shading of the yellow flower and your sweet lady bug and vibrant green background go together so perfectly. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.

Lovely colouring - I agree, the background paper does give a garden feel. A Sweet card. Chantell Just Add Ink
