Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday - again :-) A very quick post for you tonight. I managed to get into my craft room and spend some quality time with my inks, pencils and paper! I went looking for some inspiration and saw this great sketch across at Just Add Ink: As soon as I saw this sketch I knew that I wanted to use the new Little Ladybug set. So, I stamped up the images and got to work with my Prismacolor pencils! I added some striped DSP (kind of reminded me of grass) :-) Here's my card: Such a super... Read more →
Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. It's my turn to host the Paper Players clean and simple challenge this week and it's theme week: I decided to pull out an old set from Ellen Hutson called Backyard Party. I played along with two challenges for this card Freshly Made - Sketch and the inspiration photo from Just Add Ink: Looking at the photo inspiration, it was a no-brainer that I was going to ink up the trees on my Timeless Tropical set. :-) I inked up the trees, but couldn't help adding a little extra depth with my pencils. I used my pencils in the middle of the palm trees and all the way down the trunks of them. I also used my... Read more →
