Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday... again! I have another card for you today. One that I made from the theme challenge at Shopping Our Stash and the sketch from Atlantic Hearts I used my Ellen Hutson stitch dies to create the criss cross background on the card. I then used my stitched rectangle to die-cut it and added it to a Neenah Solar White card base. I die-cut the clef three times and adhered them together. I die-cut a stitched oval and stamped the sentiment onto it. I mounted the oval on the criss-cross layer and adhered the clef. Here's my... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Ann's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week - and it's color week! Now... I initially thought I would go for a Valentine's themed card, but changed my mind. I decided to use my little bees again and some of the gorgeous DSP that is available in Sale-a-bration this year. I took some of the black and white paper and colored the flowers to add the pink and red. Here's my card: I hope you will join us and play along this week. We can't wait to see what you create.... Hi Everyone. Happy Palindrome Date Day! I played along with the great sketch across at FreshlyMade this week I so rarely make square cards that I was excited to be pushed out of my comfort zone. I thought I would ink up my new Timeless Tropical set and hand colored it. Now, I love this image, but for some reason, I cannot... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Claire's turn to host our Paper Players challenge and it's theme week! I decided it was the perfect opportunity to bring out my gnome die. I am obsessed with gnomes right now! I die-cut him using some SU DSP and backed him onto some Neenah Solar White cardstock. I used the Spellbinders Hemstitch dies to create an interesting border for him. It might be a little hard to see, but I added some shading on his beard and colored his nose. I hope you will join us and play along this week. We... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday. I actually have two cards for you tonight. They are both made using sketches from (a new to me) sketch site called Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I made one for the challenge last week, but missed the submission deadline. However, I do want to share it with you - so you can see it further down this post. In the meantime, here is this week's sketch: When I saw the shape at the top, I decided to bring out my old Memory Box branch die and combine that with the cardinal from Christmas Toile. I die...
