Hi Everyone.
I promise this is the last post for today - and I'll make it quick :-) I had forgotten that the Atlantic Hearts challenge closes today and, considering the time it took me to color this image, I wanted to make sure that I got the card into the challenge in time :-)
Here's the sketch from AtlanticHearts
I used one of my new dies from SU to create the focal layer and then inked up the hibiscus flower from Timeless Tropical. To make the horizontal elements, I brought out my Ellen Hutson essential dies again. I really love these things!
Here's a closeup:
Here's my full card:
I love this rich Pretty Peacock color from SU especially with the warmth of the hibiscus and the crisp white.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. You can see my other posts for today using Botanical Prints here and Clubhouse for the Paper Players here
Hugs

So pretty! I love the embossed detail you used for the two horizontal line elements. Your bold color combination is just stunning! Thank you for joining the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!

Stunning job coloring the hibiscus!! It pops against that lovely bright white. I love the color choice for your background as well. Thank you for joining us at Atlantic Hearts this week.
