Free as a Bird for PP #488
26 April 2020
Hi Everyone.
Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Laurie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge and it's sketch week:
If you look closely, there are about 3 more layers on this card than I am usually comfortable with :-) So, I decided it was time to pull out some fabulous DSP and go to town. I started by stamping one of the birds from Free As Bird and added that on top of some of the fabulous Bird Ballad suite paper. I really love the colors on this DSP! I colored and fussy cut the bird and added it to a white stitched rectangle.
Here's my card:
I love that you can color this bird to match any paper or bird that you would like. As usual, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:
On a personal note:
Oh... the sunrise over the wetland was fabulous this morning. I was awake pretty early - around 5 am - and was thrilled to see that the difference in air and ground temps had created a wonderful fog over the wetland. Add that to the fabulous sunrise and it was absolutely magical.
In this second photo, you can really see the grey fog. It took about two hours for the sun to burn it off and it turned into a glorious day. It wasn't too hot - it wasn't too cold - it was just Goldilocks right :-)
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight - and I hope you are all keeping safe and well.
Hugs
Jaydee
