Hi Everyone.
Where did this week go? I swear I wanted to post some cards this week, but the week - and work - just got the better of me! One minute it was Monday and the next it was Friday at 8pm and I had just finished work!
It's the fabulous Vicki's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge and this is her code word:
I decided to go with a die that Lou bought me on one of his trips back to Oz (Australia, not the fictional place! :-)) last year. It's from a company called Paper Rose Studios and features the silhouettes of various Australian birds. I added a very simple sponged background and die-cut the birds in black card stock.
Here's my card:
It's an appropriate sentiment, as I am thinking about all of the wonderful virtual friends I have "met" through this card making journey and hoping that you all continue to be well and safe during this time.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime I hope you will visit the AddictedtoCAS challenge site and check out the fabulous inspiration cards, including the one of our guest designer - Jane Taylor
Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Jaydee
I know how much you like birds so this is perfect for you, Jaydee. BTW I get an error message when I try your link on the ATCAS page. It says your URL can't be found. I remember now that this happened the last few times which explains why I haven't commented on your cards. I don't know whose problem it is or how to fix it.

Your soft ink blending behind the birds really makes them pop, Jaydee! Such a striking card!
I hope all is well and that you are staying healthy ~ Barb xx

Th isis absolutely gorgeous, Jaydee. I think it's very cool that these are images of birds native to Australia, and even cooler that your husband brings you crafting treasures from his travels. I love the light inking behind the die. Just beautiful.
