Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday.
I do honestly think that you are going to be seeing quite a lot of the critters in the set that I absolutely HAD to buy and it's all Stef's fault. For her Paper Players card a couple of weeks ago, she made a fabulous card using this set and I completely fell in love with it. You can see Stef's Picture Perfect card here and I promise you will want this set too!
To help me with my card - I went looking for some inspiration and found the sketch at FreshlyMadeSketches and the colors from Color Dare.
I decided to use shades of orange - 3 different shades and choose to use black, white and grey as the free neutrals. I took Jen T at her word on the sketch and used a photo frame as my shape. For the horizontal stripe, I used a new die that arrived to create a strip.
Here's my Picture Perfect card:
I decided to back the images onto a soft grey card stock so that the white paw prints would stand out better. All it needed was a simple sentiment from the same Picture Perfect set and it was ready to go.
On a personal note:
I did get to spend some quality time in my craft room today and play along with a couple of challenges. I don't normally do this, but I wanted to give a shout out to Fran at FranticStamper. I've never bought anything from her before, but she was one of the only people that still had one of the MFT stamps that I was looking for, so I bought everything from her. I have to tell you, she shipped within 24 hours and just 4 days later I had my goodies in my craft room ready to stamp. The same thing happened last week when I added a couple more things to my stash - including these awesome paw dies. Considering the situation we are under right now, that really was amazing! So, I can honestly recommend shopping at franticstamper. I haven't been asked to do this call out - I just think that she deserved it :-)
I'll be back tomorrow morning with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, I hope you are all staying well and safe.
Hugs
Jaydee

This is just so adorable. I'm a cat person so I can't resist a card with a cat (or a dog, for that matter, on it)! What a fun-tastic take on the sketch!
