Happy Thursday! I have a two quick card sfor you today. One made using the great sketch across at Sketch Saturday I have to admit that I am obsessed with the beautiful DSO from Stampin' Up! called Whale of a Time. I just love fussy cutting the images from the paper. And one made using the Peony Garden DSP from Stampin' Up! using the color challenge across at Just Us Girls. It also uses a sketch that I got from a challenge... but UGH... I can't remember which one! Here's the sketch for the card using Whale of a Time:... Read more →

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. I have a card for you today showcasing the gorgeous DSP in the Stampin' Up! Peony Garden designer series paper. I paired it with a fancy die from the Detailed Bands die collection and.... it even has a ribbon and bow! I created the card using the Potpourri of goodies called out in the new challenge across at As You See It My DSP was a piece I had left over - so that covered the scraps. Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our PaperPlayers challenge this week and it's clean and simple week. For my card, I inked up the new Stampin' Up Loyal Leaves set with a monochromatic color scheme. For my card, I went with grey on white and kept it really clean and simple. I did add some background to the leaves with a the bubbles stamp from Whale Done and the squares from Tasteful Touches. I added some shading to the leaf and fussy cut it and mounted on foam. I couldn't resist a couple of crystal dots from... Read more →

Happy Saturday! I have a quick post for you tonight featuring my much-loved (retired) Stampin' Up! set - Honey Bee. I know this set is retired, but you are going to continue seeing it for a long time to come. :-) As always, I was stumped for a sketch, so popped along to AtlanticHearts. They always have great sketches - and they have all of their archived sketches available, which is great! Here's this week's sketch: I actually made a couple of different cards influenced by this sketch - and you will see those later in the week. For tonight's... Read more →
