Stampin! with Jaydee

Happy Friday. 

One of the other suites that was first on my list from the new 2020/2021 Stampin' Up! catalog is the Peony Garden Suite.  It comprises the Prized Peony stamp set, Peony Garden DSP, Peony Dies, Dainty Diamonds embossing folder, shimmer ribbon, elegant faceted gems and square vellum doilies.  I needed to make a card for a colleague who is going through a pretty tough time right now.  She's a very elegant lady and I thought this suite would be perfect for a card for her.

I found the perfect sketch across at AtlanticHeartsSketches.  

I kept it fairly clean and simple and used the marble effect DSP that comes with the suite for the vertical layer.  I added a die-cut scallop that comes with the dies and a strip of gray granite to form the three vertical elements.  Here's a closeup:

You can see that I used the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder, too!  I stamped the peony onto Neenah 110# paper and softly watercolored the image.  I then die-cut it and mounted it to the base and added the sentiment and a couple of the gems.  Here's my card:
