Stampin! with Jaydee

Happy Tuesday.

I warned you..... another Stampin' Up! Prized Peony card.  In fact, it's twofer night as there is a bonus card!  I really do love this set.  I was inspired by the them across at Just Us Girls and the colors across at Just Add Ink

I don't have Highland Heather in my collection, so I had to use the nearest colors that I had mixing pink and violet copic markers to get as close as I could.  The Pool Party made up the leaves of the flower and Saffron is the frame.  Crumb Cake was added with a sprig of leaves die-cut from the Forever Greenery set from Stampin' Up!  The layout comes from The Paper Craft Crew - but I missed the deadline!

I know I've said it already.... but I really do love this set.  It's just the right size and has just the right amount of realism that I love.  As a bonus, here's a card I made using the sketch across at CaseThisSketch.  It features the other flower in this set.

I really wasn't crazy about the Dazzling Diamonds embossing folder when I saw it in the catty and only bought it because it came with the suite.  How strange then that I have used it on several cards in the last week!  I've decided I really do like it :-)

Tonight's wildlife pic is a young male Baltimore Oriole.  We are so blessed that they visit and stay over summer.  We get to watch them bonding as pairs and then feeding their young.  This little guy wasn't scared at all that I was on the deck.  He landed, sang a little trill, turned his back on me and just went about having his snack!
