Merry Moose for As You See It

Happy Wednesday.  It's hump day and are officially on our way to the weekend!  I have a card for you today - clean and simple - using Merry Moose from the new Stampin' Up catalog.  Except, it doesn't feature the moose - just the tree stamp.  I was inspired to make this card for the As You See It challenge - and it's a speed stamping challenge!

you still have time to play challenge 230

I made this card from start to finish in 9 minutes... a record for me.  I used the tree from the Merry Moose set and stamped it with a darker green in the middle and a lighter green for the two side trees to add a little depth.  I added the sentiment and  an embossed stitched frame and it was ready to go!

Here's my card:

Merry Moose (1 of 1)

I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, what has been visiting the feeder?  This little guy was moving so fast and so often that I couldn't get a photo of him that was in focus.  I took 10 shots and this is the best of them!  He didn't hang around long.

Young Male Cardinal (1 of 1)

He's going to be a very handsome male Cardinal soon!  Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.

Hugs

Jaydee

LOVE your CAS Christmas card....perfect use of those beautiful trees! Thanks for sharing this with us at As You See It! It's an inspiration for me to make something similar!

I did a double-take when I read your post title as I thought - Jaydee's card didn't feature a moose?! Then I read your post - and it all makes sense!! Your trio of trees is just perfect - beautifully executed and classic Jaydee CAS perfection. Fabulous! Thanks for playing along with our 10 minute speed challenge over at As You See It this week!

Jaydee, this is a beauty! It makes my CAS heart sing! Isn't it amazing what you can do in under ten minutes! Thanks for joining our speed stamping challenge at As You See It.

Perfectly lovely card with a perfect image for an element of three speed stamping challenge, Jaydee! I love that you used the two shades of green for the depth it gave! Thanks for getting your adrenaline pumping with us at As You See It Challenges!

Marina . . . from far Africa!!!

Beautiful card . . . very clear and simple, but beautiful!! I hope I can make it . . . I do not have the Stamparatous but will try to align the trees.

Marina, thinking about it, I think they would have looked better if they weren't straight. If they aren't all stamped on the same plane, you can join them together with some green marker like I did above. So, I think you will be totally fine without the stamping tool!

Thank you so much for sharing the pictures of birds at your feeder. I enjoy your bird pictures as much as your cards. I live in the western part of Canada, so many of your birds are not ones that I’m familiar within.
