Happy Sunday. Again :-) If you are looking for my Paper Players post - you can find it here.
I created a card using a set from Altenew called Beauty Within. I haven't purchased anything from Altenew in quite a long time, but I fell in love with this set, especially as it comes with stencils for coloring. I love it, but was a little frustrated that they didn't provide stencils for all three flowers, just two!
I love the sketch across at Freshly Made this week - it's really unusual.
Cecile did say that we didn't have to use triangles and I took her up on that:-) I created a three shape focal element and did honor the triangles by creating a diamond background to help ground the focal element. I stamped the flower and leaf image and then used the layering stencils to color them. I die-cut all the stamped images and added the stencil diamond background using Crumb Cake. I popped all of the elements off the card base, added a sentiment, and my card was ready to go.
Here's my card:
I've changed the location for taking photographs of my cards and am still trying to get it right. Added to that, I am using new photo editing software and I have a large learning curve from my original software. So, please be patient as I try to sort it all out:-)
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Well, this is gorgeous! I love the flower, but that stenciled background kicks this whole card up several notches higher. Beautifully done! So good to see you in the FMS gallery, Jaydee!
