Linda, I am glad that the photo brought back happy memories for you. It is sad that we see so few butterflies these days. I really wish gardeners would understand the value of insects and stop using so many chemicals - and plant native plants. The insects make our lives so much brighter and so many birds rely on a plentiful supply of them. Everything is so connected!

Marina, not sure I can get these specific seeds, but I can certainly see what I can rustle up for you! I must admit, having lived on the African continent for 20 years, there will always be a little part of me there :-)

A lovely classical floral card that showcases the flowers well.
It must be lovely to have beautiful butterflies like that in the garden. Chantell Just Add Ink

The sponging in the background really helps ground your lovely cluster of flowers and foliage, and is big enough so that the sentiment work perfectly placed on top. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week. Kim

Marina . . . f rom far Africa!!!

Love the card!! Love the butterfly!! Love the flower!! Would it be too much to ask you for some seeds . . . you would be not only on my screen but in my garden!!! I buy my seeds from Burpee's but I have not seen this flower.

I fondly remember both yellow and black swallowtails from my youth. They were plentiful then. Now I can't remember the last time I've seen either one, with the black seeming to be even less common than the yellow. Thanks for your photo and the memories it engendered.
