Poinsettia Petals and Geared Up Garage for Freshly Made Sketches
14 September 2020
Happy Monday.
Quick post for you today - featuring two cards both made using the sketch at Freshly Made this week. One of the cards uses Stampin' Up! Geared Up Garage and the other Poinsettia Petals. Firstly, here's the sketch from FreshlyMade
For the card using Geared Up Garage, I flipped the sketch to the horizontal. I used on old Tim Holtz embossing folder for the embossed background and the gears and car are from the Geared Up Garage stamp set and dies.
For the second card, I kept the sketch on the vertical and used the stamps and matching dies from Poinsettia Petals. I love this set, but for some reason I cannot make it work using the traditional red colors. So, I've taken to using a yellow-green for the set and that seems to work much better for me.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
Hugs
Jaydee

What a great set of cards! I love how the same sketch created such vastly different cards! The masculine one is fantastic - love those gears! Love the pretty poinsettias and the berries as well! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
