Prized Peony for Atlantic Hearts Sketches #384 and CTD #609
04 September 2020
Happy Friday!
So glad it is a long weekend! I didn't get much time in my crafting cave today as I had hoped. However, I was able to play along with two challenges - Atlantic Hearts Sketches #384 and Color Throwdown #609. I used my favorite Stampin' Up! set, Prized Peony for my card and mixed it with some Stampin' Up! Playing with Patterns DSP.
Here's the sketch from AHS:
and the colors from ColorThrowdown:
I began by stamping the main flower from Prized Peony and colored them with my red-violet and green markers. I cut some DSP from the Playing with Patterns and placed that onto a piece of Misty Moonlight card stock. I added some enamel dots and a sentiment and the card was complete.
Here's my card:
Here's a closer look at the colors - you get a much better idea of the purples:
And this one gives you a better feel of the different papers to match the sketch:
I still have to figure out the new photography set up - and how to get my watermark into the software! I'll be back with another card tomorrow. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
