Happy Sunday.
It's the fabulous Laurie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's CAS theme week. Here's Laurie's theme:
Aren't they yummy looking baked goods? Those bees are amazing and that cherry cupcake... well, let's just say I could handle that with a cup of tea!
I went with Cupcakes for my card and pulled out an old Power Poppy digital stamp. I did some basic coloring and added some shimmer and shine with my gel pen. I used my whimsical stitched rectangle dies and added a sentiment. Easy peasy. Here's my card:
As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:
On a personal note:
Well, I only managed to make one card this week and that was for an upcoming Paper Players challenge. For some reason, I just haven't made it into my craft room but I think I might be inspired to use some new goodies that my darling hubby bought as an anniversary present. Isn't it wonderful when you have a hubby who enables your obsession er, I mean hobby! :-) He had heard me rabbiting on about a "new" (to me that is) stamp company and how cool some of the goodies were. He kept asking me what I wanted for our anniversary and I kept saying, "I have no idea". So, he decided to get me a gift card. Boy.. did I have fun deciding what to buy. I spent a couple of hours this week getting them all into their packets, dies onto magnetic sheets, etc. But now I need to try and get time to actually play with them! First though, it's housework!
I do have a few cards that I haven't shared with you yet - so I'm hoping to get time to post them this week. I will also be packaging up cards for Send A Smile for Kids and also ones for seniors. I should be back tomorrow. If you are looking for a little touch of fall color, you can check out my photos from this post. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
Hugs
Jaydee
