Happy Tuesday! As promised, I have another card for you tonight. This is another one I made this weekend with my new The Greetery Goodies. This one features Cozy Cup. I have several coffee themed sets, but this is my favorite! I love that it comes with a coaster die as well! I used the fabulous sketch from CaseThisSketch for my card. The minute I saw the sketch, I knew it was perfect for the Cozy Cup set. For the vertical element, I used my old Tim Holtz woodgrain stencil with some Sahara Sand ink. I die cut the elements... Happy Monday. I have a card made using two of the sets that I got with my gift card from my wonderful hubby on our anniversary. These two sets are from The Greetery - a stamp company that was completely new to me. The two sets are Signed and Sealed and Signed and Sealed with a Kiss. I was inspired to create this card by the fabulous inspiration photo across at Just Us Girls. The large clock reminded me of my Tim Holtz stencil, so I used that for the background - stenciled with Sahara Sand ink. I then stamped... Read more →

Happy Saturday. It's my pleasure to host the Paper Players challenge this week and it's sketch week. I decided it was time to bring out my Simon Says Stamp gnomes and dress them up in Christmas pyjamas! The sentiment was created on my Mac and printed on Neenah Solar White card stock.... Read more →

Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Laurie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's CAS theme week. Here's Laurie's theme: Aren't they yummy looking baked goods? Those bees are amazing and that cherry cupcake... well, let's just say I could handle that with a cup of tea! I went with Cupcakes for my card and pulled out an old Power Poppy digital stamp. I did some basic coloring and added some shimmer and shine with my gel pen. I used my whimsical stitched rectangle dies and added a sentiment. Easy peasy. Here's my card: As always, the... Happy Tuesday! I did manage to get into my craft room to make two cards this past weekend, but it took a while to do them! Tonight's card is a bit of a departure for me - as it's a little "busier" than my usual cards. Most of the cards I've made using the Poinsettia Petals set have been made using the stamps and have been grey/green. I have really tried to color those stamps red, but I just can't get them to look right. So, I decided to use the die-cuts mostly without the stamps. I die-cut 4 layers... Read more →
